My current router is on its last legs, so I'd like to run out to Best Buy, Circuit City, CompUSA, Micro Center, Wal Mart, etc. and just pick up a new one.

Does anyone know of any 100% DD-WRT compatible devices that I can pick up from a local store? Preferably something with 4MB or higher, so I don't have to use a micro firmware?

In U.S. - WRT54GL, WRT300N (broadcom), WRT350N (broadcom). Possiblely, WRT600N (broadcom) in the near future. Make sure they are broadcom-based, some revisions are Marvel, or Atheros-based.

Buffalo's no longer available. In motherboard dept. they may special order ASUS branded 8MB/32MB routers if they carry ASUS motherboards and if asked "nicely" or if the tech. is a nice guy - most will not go the extra mile.
