I have three WRT54G with sveasoft alchemy ver 1.0 firmware, 10w hyperlink amplifiers and 10.5Dbi antennas.

The WRT54G is placed 15 to 20km away from one another. The WRT54G are configured to work in WDS mode. May I know what are the parameters that would be affected and what parameters should i tweak to improve the throughput. The experiment is carried out in open sea.

you would need the antenna to be very high on both ends due to curvature of the earth, even the sea is not flat i beleive the farthest a person can see due to the curve is 11Miles. which i think is about 20 km or so. my metric is a little rusty.

also tweak the ack timeout. or your resends will go through the roof or not work at all.
(the time it takes the routers to say hi to one another)
