I have a D-Link router and a WRT54G (running OpenWrt). The D-Link is my main router but I want to add more ports by hooking up the WRT54G to the D-Link so they are on the same subnet. So D-Link is 192.168.0.1 and WRT54G is 192.168.0.2. I connected them together with a cable.

DHCP is enabled on the D-Link and it's turned off on the WRT54G. For some reason I can't ssh into the WRT54G via the Internet. I made sure I opened the ports (on D-Link) and directed it to the WRT54G. I can only ssh to it locally.

    Anyone have any ideas?

if you know you setup port forwarding on the dlink right there shouldn't be any firewall rules or anythinh blocking it by detault, you'll probably need to run tcpdump and have someone try connecting to it and see if it's even getting a connection request...
