Does anyone know of any 3rd party firmware to turn a Linksys Rotuer/Switch into a manageable switch - with MAC forwarding table, ARP table, able to set speed and duplex, see Ethernet stats? All the firmware i've seen seems to focus on the wireless and routing.

afaik this isn't possible... I believe the switch is actually directly connected to a switching chipset which does the switching itself so you can't actually control how it does that switching from the software as it doesn't communicate with that software it just switches.

I was completely wrong you can use the admcfg package to change duplex, speed port enabled/disable and see stats per port and even move them between vlans... it's pretty cool :)

I'm not sure of MAC forwarding but I do know that Alchemy pre7a can change VLANs and port speed/duplex. I think it can also set port 3 and 4 to do trunking if your into that kina thing.
