Wow i wish i had foudn this site in the first place. i have a ver 5, and iam getting dropouts on both my wired and my roomate's wifi, hes using a usb adapator. I called tech no help, i just talked to some dot-head who was really no help. The conclusion was my AC outlet was causing eletrical spikes and causing me to have to un plug and re plug the modem in!! i called BS and demanded a RMA at least for another, or for a version 4 of this router, no luck until i try it at another house?! bs...worst tech support i have ever had to experience ever! i tried calling several times, and got the same answer from the same group of.......iam not racist but come on! lol iam just pissed off first i had the dlink 624 and it didnt even work right so i returned it to the store , then got this. they have no other models lol and wont do a cash return so iam sol i guess unless i can convince linksys to do a step down on my router any hel or ideas would be apperciated iam running the new 1.004 firmware dated from december and to top it off u cant install third party firmware. peice of junk.
