Router E3000 running shibby big vpn.

    1. How can I start openvpn manually from the startup scripts? When I run this command (/usr/sbin/openvpn --mktun --dev tap0) from the cmd line I get these errors:

Wed Nov 21 21:41:46 2012 Note: Cannot open TUN/TAP dev /dev/net/tun: No such file or directory (errno=2)
    Wed Nov 21 21:41:46 2012 Cannot ioctl TUNSETPERSIST(1) tap0: Bad file descriptor (errno=9)
    Wed Nov 21 21:41:46 2012 Exiting

    2. How can I check what version of openvpn this firmware is running?

    3. Also what directory is the transmission daemon located in?

    Code:
    which transmission-daemon

I would assume there is only one in the firmware someplace but I can't seem to find it. Bottom line is I am trying to get transmission going but not having any luck.

The BIG-VPN Shibby build doesn't come with transmission, only the GUI.

So I have the wrong version??? I thought I had the most complete version. Is there a comparison of shibby versions somewhere? I also still need to know the answers to 1 & 2 above if anyone knows.

    That wasn't a question :)
which is a command that tells you where the program (given as a parameter) is located.
For example on my Shibby AIO:
    Code:
    # which transmission-daemon
    /usr/bin/transmission-daemon

Except the build he's running doesn't contain a Transmission daemon...

Exactly. If the program is not found which returns nothing.
