My router is a Linksys E3200 with shibby 117 aio. Never had this happened before. I made some changes on port forwarding for my ps3, nothing new I had always done port forwarding or port triggering or just used upnp or just nat-pmp, anyways nothing different saved changes in port forwarding and rebooted. Never received my ip address, couldn't telnet into router, no internet connection. So I turned off the router for a hour since I had to leave for dinner came back, nothing same as before with no ip or connection what so ever to my router my connection on icon was spinning. Hard reset 30-30-30 reset up as usual as was before didn't use backup just in case of gremlins. Everything back to normal when I went to port forwarding for PS3 ports and saved I was back again in with no access what so ever again. So I thought i would point this out to the forum and if some one may have ran into the same issue with port forward? Luckly a hard-reset gets everything back to normal except this time no port forwarding. I can still use port triggering I play call of duty and using those methods of forwarding to port triggering to just using upnp works pretty well for me with really no issues. So I had to reset twice and if I had to do it again I was going to try a different firmware just to see if I still have an issue with port forwarding? As I said Weird the wireless runs excellent as usual no issues on the rest of my setup as long as I leave port forwarding alone. I'll install toastman firmware later this morning since I am tired and add to this thread. I guess if it happens again maybe my router is "don't want to say it" I'll still report about my problem later this morning.

Ok adding to the last thread. No as of yet of the strange problem that happened to me, I had been using the port triggering with no issues even played a couple of games till someone cheated with god mode typical anyways I setup port forwarding, disabled port triggering. So far the router has not displayed the any signs of being disabled from internet, or being unresponsive to my attempts to back login after changes to ports, the wireless dual band is running at A+ rating. I guess I'll have to report if it changes again from my router.

I am currently using Shibby 117 AIO for my Linksys E3200 and have down loaded Toastman's E3200 EXT build in case my router gives away to some unkown reason than the problem explained in the previous thread with rerunning a hard reset and reset up the way it was originally before the incident with port forwarding unfortunately I had to do it twice and currently running on the third times a charm.
Thank you for taking the time to read my thread.
