    A WRT54GS v1.1 Port Range Forward Question

    Hello. I believe my correct information for this router is...
    CGN2 = WRT54GS v1.1 / BCM5325EKQM Chipset / CPU 200Mhz

    I am currently running the firmware version: Firmware Version : v4.70.6
    This is an offical firmware from the Linksys company website.

    My question is that in the Application and Games section of the backend, the tab "Port Range Forward" there is only 10 slots available for adding in ports per application. What I was pondering is there a third party firmware that is available to download that will allow for more options for more ports? Meaning instead of 10, maybe like 50 or 60 slots.

    I spoke with Linksys this morning, and their agent said that due to the limits of the router, they only allow 12 slots for applications, but Linksys engineers are hard at work developing a new firmware for the device to allow more than 10 slots that exist now.

    Please point me in the right direction. I remember seeing someone screenshot of their router, and they had like 30+ slots of areas for each port. Just wondering if this is possible for my router. Thank you.
