I have wrt54gs and i want to work with it as access point (since i am at a hotel with wireless internet).
I have 1 pc with wireless card and it work fine.
My other pc doesn''t have wireless card so i want to work with it using my linksys as access point.
I switch off the dhcp in the linksys.
    The box has 192.168.1.1
I gave 192.168.1.200 to my pc.
I got Internet gateway in my PC but i can't get any connection to te internet.
    What is the reason?
What will be the DNS (since i gave 192.168.1.200 to the pc i can't switch the DNS to be automaticaly).
    Thanks
    Ofer

Are you connecting the WRT54G to the PC with the wireless connection? You do not have to if the you have a wired NIC on the PC with the wireless connection. Click on the wireless connection and click the properties control button. Click the advanced tab and enable sharing of the connection. This will enable ICS and it will automatically assign an IP Address to your wired NIC. The wired computer will have to be a DHCP client, so it will get its IP address and the DNS server addresses.
