I installed the Thibor12 Firmware on a WRTG54GS v2 (great software btw), but sadly I encounter 1 problem with the Access Restriction.
    I made two rules :
Rule 1) Enable Mac address - in which I use the button “edit list of PCs†to add three Mac addresses and allow them access.
Rule 2) Block IP address - in which I use the button “edit list of PCs†to add the IP range used by the router in my case 192.168.0.0 – 192.168.0.254 and deny them access.

When I enable these rules my Internet connection is blocked, of course my pc is one of the Mac addresses mentioned above.

Do I something wrong ? Or is this a bug ? I switched from the Sveasoft Alchemy firmware to Thibor12 and did a “Clear NVRAM, restore factory defaultsâ€. The rules work fine with other firmwares (Sveasoft Alchemy- and the original Linksys firmware).

    Access Restriction Bug / Sloution

    I've recently purchased WRT54GL and flash'ed both Hyperwrt 2.1b1 + Thibor13c and Hyperwrt 2.1b1 + Tofu13b/c.

I tryed applying access restrictions and they didn't work.
I decided to dig deeper and discovered that the couse was Security/Firewall Protection set to: disable (which is my configuration).

When i turned it on it solved the problem :)

    Hope it helps.

    Rgrds.

it's not a bug. the access restrictions are firewall rules matched by time, mac and webstr. they cannot possibly work if the firewall is disabled.
