Access restrictions in DD-WRT sp2

I am not sure what I am doing wrong, but I cannot seem to get the restrictions to work. I create a new rule and name it. I go into the alternet window and enter the MAC address of the computer I want to restrict. I set it to active. I next choose to ''ALLOW'' internet access between the hours of 06:00 and 23:30 and I select this rule to be in affect daily. Then I save the settings. If I understand correctly this should allow internet access between the hours of 6:00am and 11:30pm and should be in affect every day.
But last night the computer identified by the MAC address was accessing the internet at 1:30am.
I must have done something wrong, but I am not sure of what. Advise woould be appreciated. I am using a Buffalo WHR-HP-G54 router with the DD-WRT sp2 firmware.

    Thanks,
    Lon

I guess nobody has used the access restrictions here?

    Thanks anyway,

Access restrictions tend to be a little buggy in dd-wrt

So I never bothered using them. I used K9 Web Protection instead, it's free

I will sure give that a look. What I really want to do is take ALL internet access away at certain times, like through night. I have been playing with the tomato firmware, newest version, but am having some issues there also.

    Thanks again.

I should have noted that I used it before I found Tomato. Tomato takes care of all my needs now for the shutting down the internet at certain times and blocking sites

Perhaps I am just doing something wrong then. I am using the same Buffalo router as you and the same firmware version. I find that in the middle of the day the wireless seems to go down and I have to reconnect those computers. But I see no reason for them to go down so I am not sure what is going on.

    Getting a little frustrated.
By the way, what setting do you have your transmit pwr set at?

    Thanks again,
    Lon

My wireless xmit power on the Buffalo is set to 15, 10 is the default. I noticed a lot of interference when I went higher. Although I have read that others do set it higher but 15 works for me so why change.
