    Hi all,

Another noob joined your blog :)

I have some issue and couldn't find the solution in the forum, I am sure there is buy I can not find it.

I have my Main Tomato router with IP 192,168,10,1 Dhcp server 192,168,10,100-192,168,10,200

My second router is connected to Main Router as a Wireless client which is connected under the ip 192,168,10,123
The second router has its own gateway IP of 192,168,11,1 and Dhcp server 192,168,11,100-192,168,11,200

Computer from the second router can connect to the main router buy typing http://192,168,10,1
But the main router does not have access to the sub gateway of the second router http://192,168,11,1

What do I have to do to get access to this sub-gateway? add a routing table? how?

thank you in advance for your help

Router 1 LAN IP is 192.168.10.1

Router 2 WAN IP is 192.168.10.123
Router 2 LAN IP is 192.168.11.1

There are two ways around it.

you cannot access from R1 to R2 using R2's LAN IP unless you put the R2 Router in Routing Mode and not Gateway Mode. Gateway does NAT so you would have to access R2 with a remote management Port using http:192.168.10.123:8080 (8080 is port that you setup for remote management in R2)

btw dont use 192.168.10.123 as your R2 gateway IP. this is in the DHCP scope of R1 and could be leased to a client other than then R2 WAN. use an IP address outside of the DHCP scope like 192.168.10.99 that is within the Netmask of the Subnet.
