    Dear all,

I'm looking for an accesspoint with a built-in DHCP-Server, which allows me to manually specify me the default-gateway.

I've been searching for a while now, but most devices only have limited options regarding the configuration of the DHCP service. My WRT54GS isn't directly connected to the internet, but does this using a connected cisco router, so the IP-address of the cisco router should be the default-gateway for my clients.

The WRT54GS (Thibor firmware) however, doesn't have an option to change the default-gateway for the clients, but assumes that it acts as the default-gateway itself.

Besides the cisco router and the accesspoint there aren't any computers in this networksegment that could be configured as a DHCP-Server. The cisco router doesn't contains a DHCP-Server either.

Does anybody knows about an accesspoint (or firmware) that offers me this option? I don't have a lot of requirements besides that it should work absolutely solid.

Thanks for all help in advance!

    Solved

I re-checked my cisco router and I noticed that it offers a built-in DHCP-Server, so my problem has been solved now.

    Thanks anyway!
