OK - who has found anything interesting to load up as an add-on??

What is it, what does it do?? how to install it??

You can start with the modules for batbox (ssh / iptraf / vpn / snort). They are available in the zip on the batbox site http://www.batbox.org/wrt54g-linux.html
Nocatsplash (captive portal) and kismet drone (netstumbler alike) are also available on other sites.

With a little linux knowledge this should be no problem. (instructions etc you can mostly find in the zip).

The add-ons in HyperWRT is very basic, mostly made for people that want to easely add some custom apps, without having to recompile their own firmware. It's not designed to load WDS, ... The goal of HyperWRT is still to keep it a minimal firmware close to Linksys one
