I currently have a two-PC wired LAN connected via a four-port Microsoft MN-100 router. I am adding a third PC to the LAN, but it has to be done wirelessly due to issues with wiring (second floor room). The existing router (which will be replaced with, preferably, a WRT54GS) is in the basement. I need suggestions on both firmware and antennas (the desktop NIC will be the Linksys desktop wireless-G w/SpeedBooster) to decrease lag on the two-story jump.
