Admin Router through VPN

Hopefully this is quick. I searched google and the forums but couldnt find anything based on the keywords I used.

I have a WRV200 with a client VPN. I connect to it remotely using the QuickVPN Client. I want to connect to the local (192.168.1.1) address to administer the router (http://192.168.1.1) and I continually get web page cannot be found when I am on my remote computer connected via VPN.

I can remote desktop to a windows machine inside the network and manage the router without any trouble.

Do I need to turn on remote management? I thought that was just for the public side of the firewall. Is there anything else I can setup to allow remote management through the VPN?

    Thanks for all your help!
