hi all at the moment i have an netgear adsl modem and router, if i hang the wrt54gs off the back of the netgear router i am unable to access the linksys ?? i heard it got some weird fake DNS or something ??

thinking of changing to a linksys but there are a few models out there adsl, adsl2 , ag041 , ag241 ???

what is my best bet ?? all i want it to do is server adsl to 1 pc via wire and then have a wireless ap for wireless devises to connect to the internet

do i need to get an adsl modem with router ,or just the adsl modem and serve the pc from the wireless ethernet ??

If you already have a modem/router, you should not need another router, but maybe a wireless access point (WAP), is wireless access what you are after?

Now a wrt54 with 3rd party firmware, can act as a WAP, that's good value.

But to answer your question better, I think the community would need to know a little bit more about what you want to do, maybe just start with a list of PCs etc you have and where they are in your house or work...
