    Hi, Boardlord.
Would you like to try this firmware? It's the latest AT with busybox replaced by the one from Shibby's 110. And the little bug under admin-access page Jacky mentioned above is fixed. I made this one especially for you. You can download it from:

    https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B9fYimqsQ2eTVmJURHlrQlBVc0E/edit?usp=sharing
MD5 for this file is :2716bd914c16eb568b3ae2b3d57a6b6a

    Good luck!

I would like to share latest change log that will apply to the next update which will be released soon.
Its a big change log again including many fixes!

    AdvancedTomato 1.13.12:
    Code:
    - Fixed small typo that caused Elenor theme not beeing shown under "Admin -> Admin Access"
    - Fixed tables row totals on following pages: BW Weekly, IP Transfer Rates, IP Daily, IP Monthly
    - Fixed Admin -> BW Monitoring - Backup file was not properly named
    - Fixed Admin -> Configuration - Restoring configuration issued error
    - Fixed issues on Bandwidth pages when module was disabled (JS errors & Messages bellow footer)
    - Fixed position of Wifi Signal bars at "Device List" page (also changed style a little)
    - Fixed input type buttons in new Elenor theme
    - Fixed/Added better mobile browser detection script which supports many more devices
    - Bandwidth Graphs are now responsive (width will adapt size of the page)
    - Other tuneups & changes I forgot to mention
    - Changed default Captive Portal splash page (Responsive, Animated and Minimalistic)
Also Shibby is considering intergrating AT into his builds adding AT as an optional interface. That might finnaly make your life easier when flashing firmware =)

P.S.: I have few more things on my mind to solve before compiling next AT. But that should be done in next few days!

Anyone knows what happened to the Bandwidth Limiter?

I just switched to an Asus RT-N16 and installed tomato-K26USB-1.28.AT-RT-N5x-MIPSR2-1.12.12-AIO, and wanted to use the Bandwidth Limiter which previously worked perfectly for me with my tomato-E1000v2-v21-NVRAM32K-1.28.RT-N5x-MIPSR2-104-Mini (Linksys E1000).

However opening the Bandwidth Limiter GUI I have found that I cannot set a default class for any additional networks except br0. The option to set anything for br1 and anything virtual is gone.

Furthermore whenever i try to set for br0, I enter correct values, click on Add, then click on Save and wait for the postback. After this if I re-open the Bandwidth Limiter page my settings are gone (the table containing the rules is empty) and there is no bandwidth limitation in effect.

So most of the Bandwidth Limiter settings are gone, the rest of them cannot be saved and generally don't work anymore. Any chance to get these up and running again soon?

Also anyone knows if this is a problem with Advanced Tomato or do the latest versions of Shibby's Tomato have the same issues as well?

Guys. Please all those that are active in this thread please be civil to each other, no need for all the shots being fired at each other.

If some developers dont want to take on other developers work, fine leave it at that, do your own good work. I am sure it will be praised by all that uses it.

If someone does want to take on a new gui, fine, accept it as that and move on. it really amazes me why are we all deciding to start on each other? because of choice. choice is good, but we make our own decisions, and we should respect each others.

if you want to debate the pro's and con's of each others work and why it should be used, or not, take it to PM or a multiple conversation. this thread is

AdvancedTomato - new GUI based on Shibby's mods

So keep it to that. Please keep this on topic for the sake of kindness to others.

I have removed a number of paragraphs/post, of which i deem may result in aggressive remarks later. i ahve no seeked out one individual. i am merely creating the topic mood, which it deserves.

    Peace ;)

    Thanks, I agree.
I do how ever mind that some people take every thing personal and that every message I write is beeing treated hostile untill proven otherwise. Anyway!

If anyone wishes to share more router configurations for easier download at my web site (What I mean: http://at.prahec.com/downloads/) please do so on this topic. I just need following information:

    Router name: *
Router Flash Size (size for firmware): *
    Recommended Tomato version (RT-N, MIPS1, MIPS2, USB/NON-USB)

And I will add as much configurations as I get. If any developer, user needs the script I wrote for router search, PM me and I will send you the source. Its pretty simple script, based on router info it searches through folders on server by current version (I use changelog file with version in filename and the script parses that to get current version) and array of data for router.

Its pretty basic, fast and usefull so people can just select router model and get lastest and recommended image. You can test it your self at downloads page on my web site.

If I understand shibby's change log, AC builds will now become primary (RT-N will be removed!) meaning Asus RT-AC66U users will finnaly get AdvancedTomato interface! As soon as this info is confirmed by Shibby, I will start doing neccessary changes & will build new AdvancedTomato based on shibby's 114.

P.S.: Never mind previous message! Working on new builds including RT-AC!

Update: Compiling firmware has started. Tomorrow I'll upload new builds on my server and update router search script to work with new builds. RT-N66U also has AC build now AND RT-AC66U will also be available!

I like the metro navigation in the online demo. That's exactly how I set up my start menu, all the way back to the Windows 2000 days. (Press WinKey, hover over category, choose shortcut.)

One thing - with graphing, sometimes less is more. Resizable graphs (smaller) are fine, but there should be a default size in case someone wants to take screenshots that can easily be compared visually.

One feature that I'm really hankering for is the option to specify the graph size (in KB/sec) - on 15mbit, I might choose to set the graph to 30mbit, so that when I upgrade to 25mbit in the future, my graphs will be directly comparable without paying attention to the numbers. ;) I sometimes record what traffic "looks like" for personal interest.

    Thanx,

About graphs I'm not sure that is really point of Tomato Graphs. Visualization of data is cool okay and makes it easier to look. But to visually compare graphs betwen screenshots, I don't know never tried :). If you wish to resize graphs to standard view of tomato size, you can try resizing window. Graphs will adapt to the main div size which is responsive!

I haven't built all the images in this release because it took too long. If anyone else requires other images that I havn't uploaded just let me know. I will compile them right away.

    Download: Linksys E2000

    Jacky444,

    Newbie question:
Currently configured using 1.14.14 running the following:
    TOR Project
    Guest Wifi on BR1
    Access restriction on BR1
    Captive portal also on BR1
Tried googling aroung to edit the splash.html for the captive portal (for gradeschool students) but for some reason I am unable to. I copied the splash.html from this link:
    http://tomatousb.org/forum/t-381082/tomato-captive-portal-splash-page-redesigned
tried to upload it to the router but nothing happened when I clicked upload and save.

Hmm thats strange, did you configure proper "Welcome HTML Path"? I never tried this function before but If I'm correct, once you upload custom splash file/zip it goes into some specific folder on router (maybe /tmp) so you have to change welcome path to the new one. I'm currently unable to do that because my router is hosting web server and this would mess my net up. But I will give it a try in next few days on some old router to see what's happening.

Thank you Jacky. The TA GUI is just wonderful and convenient in navigation. I love it. :)

http://tomato.groov.pl/tomatoanon.php?model=Linksys E3000 (Click on MOD for sorting to see AT users)

Linksys E3000 firmware is compiled with dualband support. Should work fine without issues at least I haven't got any reports on issues with E3000.

I have to say bootstrap themes are no longer working with AdvancedTomato since release 1.09.09. Also most bootswatch themes are now Bootstrap 3.0 based which is even more incompatable with AT GUI for now.
Bootstrap was heavy for router firmwares so I had to strip it down a lot to make it as small as possible.

Now of course its possible to import themes by modifying the source code but it requires changes. I guess I have to change the features page and remove bootstrap themes compatibility. I do however support theming so if you let me know which theme you love I might be able to modify it for you and walk you through on setup instructions.

I asked author of TTB to add support for AdvancedTomato themes/skins and he haven't replied. I was thinking to add another theme base with easier file submission system and focused for AT & Tomato skins.

I will look into that bw limit page and add it in next version =)

This might be a bug, I noticed under Bandwidth limiter is enabled by default and when I disable it, it does appear to be disabled, refreshing will bring it back to enabled.

I noticed that this is tied to QoS Setting...
If we enable QoS and set the inbound/outbound bandwidth, BW Limiter will automatically set...
And yes, even if we QoS disable, the BW Limiter still can't be turn off...

I have finally found some time to do some things on AdvancedTomato and one of them was creating Theme Directory which is already available at http://at.prahec.com/themes/ !
Note: Clearing your cache will probably fix most issues with AT web site.

Next update will include modified TTB script to work with ATTD (AdvancedTomato Theme Directory).
I will push commit for modified script soon if anyone wants to compile it before next update.

I have also fixed some issues that were noticed before. And I'm going to check on the QoS bug tomorrow.
There has also been report that custom "Splash Page" for Captive Portal doesn't work, can anyone else confirm that? I'm unable to try that at the moment due to heavy traffic to my router :(.

P.S.: Forgot to mention, all new AT themes that I'm planing to add will be released on ATTD to save space on router's flash.

Something isn't right with the real-time bandwidth reporting. I was just downloading a torrent that was downloading around 3.49MB/s but the real-time graph was showing consistent speeds over 8MB/s. Upload was also off...average was around 500KB/s but AT was reporting over 1MB/s

I did take a look at the 'Last 24 hour' reporting filtered down the just an hour for the same time period the the download and upload speeds looked correct, so it appears (based on a real quick test) it is just an issue with the real-time reporting.

    Hey Jacky,

Would it be possible to get a build that has CIFS & UPS enabled... i've built them in the past myself... but if something like that was included in your regular builds... that would be awesome. In my case I need it for the 3500Lv1.

    Thanks!

    Hey,

Regarding BCM_NAT. I have the module on my router, and it seems to load fine. (I have yet to test if it helps performance at all). But, I don't see the option on the misc page to enable/disable the module. So it obviously will not load at boot.

To load this module , I added the command 'modprobe bcm_nat' to the WAN UP script (Menu: Administration -> Scripts) That did the trick for me :)

    juggie Addicted to LI Member

Yeah, I can do that, but the diff seemed to indicate there would be an option on misc page. Hence me asking.

I'm sorry for delay, I noticed that as well. I was sure its bug in the firmware it self because web GUI doesn't count up bandwidth so that would be the issue, but its possible. Regardless, I will look into the issue and let you know if I can fix it.

Update: Testing IPTraffic its the same issue, at 10.5mb/s speed i get readings of 48mb/s

Hi Jacky444, thank you for very nice mod.

by the way, i could not find the congestion control(a.k.a TCP Vegas) which was available on shibby's firmware, could you please put it back again?

Jacky, could you maybe do a build w/ UPS and CIFS enabled? I've done them myself but would be nice if it was just done already! :) As far as I know there isn't one... unless I am mistaken.

    Thanks!

Currently using this on 2 routers, E4200 and E3200. Had an issue where the wireless clients used to drop off on occasion and the only way to fix it was to reboot the modem.

Thus far the E4200 has been for 2 days (fingers crossed), but the E3200 I have to reboot daily.

E3200 is set to the following:-

    2.4GHz = B/G only
    5GHz = N Only
Channel 8 (Changed to 8 yesterday to see if that helps, otherwise it was at channel 6)

I've heard of issues it the E3200 and tomato, but some ppl seem to got it resolved.

What's the right "mix" to keep it stable?

Still new to this forum so I have what may be a stupid question...

I've got a Belkin N600 F7D8301 on the way from Amazon to replace my aging Linksys WRT54-TM running a very old version of Tomato.

I really like the GUI of AdvancedTomato. It looks like I can run a Shibby Tomato firmware on the FD78301. Does that also mean I can run AT as well? If so, I know I'll need to install DD-WRT mini initially but what AT file would I then download to flash?

It is possible a NEWDRIVER version for RT-N66U?
    Thanks in advance.

I'm unaware of any issues with AdvancedTomato specifically. If Shibby's releases have these issues I'm unable to provide support for them since AdvancedTomato is just a GUI modification not a firmware it self.

Since Shibby merged AC branch with RT-N the RT-N66U has AC/RT-N and one of them is "NEW DRIVER" (AC I would presume).

I'm currently very busy so the 115 update from Shibby will be delayed for a week or two. I'm sorry guys :(

Yes, you can use AT. Any non model specific RT or RT-N Build under 8MB should work.

And as I said in the other thread, the need for dd-wrt initially is a myth for this model.

No, actually it's three versions of drivers:

    1. tomato-K26USB-1.28.RT-N5x-MIPSR2-115-AIO-64K (driver version 5.100.138.20)
    2. tomato-K26USB-1.28.RT-N5x-MIPSR2-115-NEWDRIVER-AIO-64K (driver version 5.110.27.20012)
    http://tomato.groov.pl/download/K26RT-N/testing/115-NEWDRIVER/
    3. tomato-RT-N66U_RT-AC6x--115-AIO-64K (driver version 6.30.102.9)

Version 5.110.27.20012 is the one that I asked.

can i install tomato-K26USB-1.28.AT-RT-N5x-MIPSR2-1.15.14-AIO.trx on my Belkin F7D4301 router

  82. JBunselmeyer

Based on what I was told, no. You can flash the .trx files directly but since our router has 8MB flash the .trx you flash has to be 8MB or less. The AIO file is over 8MB.

Unfortunately its December, a month when I'm the most busy in whole year. I have 2 on going projects, 2 waiting in queue and I have zero free time for anything besides work. I would really appreciate if another developer could compile newest Shibby with AT. Its really easy, just matter of merging AT Git and Shibby's Git.

I want to install AT on a Belkin F7D8301.

Which version do I install? I only see versions that are specific with a model and Belkin isn't listed. Confused??

Anyone getting any stable uptime using the latest version of AdvancedTomato?

I have an E4200 and the most uptime I've ever gotten is 2 days. I have to reboot because it drops ALL connections, both wireless and wireless.

I have both cards set to N only.

Any combination of "good configs" I can try?

Seems to be working fine here, any more updates on this issue?

I have personally always had issues with Tomato and WiFi dropping, only thing that works fine for me was 2.4GHz.
ON AT however both 5GHz and 2.4GHz N work fine for me. Did you check logs maybe for some more detailed information?

@Jacky444, is there anything specific I should look for in the logs or should I try both setting both to 2.4GHz

P.S.: I'm working on new update, but sort of waiting for Shibby to release his 116 before releasing it. We'll see but update will roll out soon, week tops!

AdvancedTomato update 1.16.15 is now available !

    Change Log:
    Code:
    1.16.14:
    - Added Ratina ready icons (SVG/WOFF)
    - GUI improvements icons, some stylesheets and other stuff
    - Fixed few typos on mobile page
    - Fixed issue when Default Gateway (basic-network.asp) had 3 input fields instead of one
    - Fixed some maths at BW/IPTraffic graphs
    - Merged bootstrap.css and bootstrap-responsive.css
    - Removed Clean and Default themes
    - Elenor has been edited and it is now default theme
Warning: In next release only one theme will remain in firmware it self, others should be used from ATTD.

    1.16.15 (by Shibby):
    - Fix weird mac behaviour when openvpn tap is enabled
    - Support JFFS for RT-AC66U (limited to 32MB)
    - Paragon NTFS driver for Asus RT-N66U and RT-AC66U
    - Add Openvpn username/password auth – thx rainlake
    - Dnsmasq 2.67 final – thx Kevin
    - Fix dhcpv4 logging – was always in quiet mode – thx Kevin
    - Dnscrypt-proxy: upgrade to 1.3.3
    - libsodium: upgrade from 0.4.1 to 0.4.5
    Downloads
Will be available soon, compile is almost done (about 1hour remaining!). Note: This update changes some styles again so some old themes might look bad. In Next release I will remove all themes (leaving default only) and add more themes to ATTD. Reason for this is simple, I can't keep trying to make new good looking UI while keeping size of firmware small. This will allow me to have little more breathing space. Not to mention ability to update themes more frequently.

P.S.: Downloads are now available, routers should get notifications about update soon as well!

    hello and thank you.
i've upgraded a wrt150n and an e4200v1 after saving bandwidth data. the upgrade process went well. however, when i tried to restore bandwidth data, there was no confirmation of the restore, and the review of bandwidth revealed no restored data. please check it out.
    thanks

@ghoffman, do you have an issue with it dropping internet connections? I've swapped back to DD-WRT for the time being, but now that a new release is out, I'm eager to try it

    I'm referring to the E4200v1

i have not had this problem. i've used many iterations of shibby's builds on main router, wireless client routers, and access points, without connection problems. i don't use QOS, but i do use USB printing, NAS features, ddns, static IP's, port forwarding rules, upnp, intranet dnsmasq, dhcp.
