I currenlty am running a Belkin router with the dd-wrt firmware. I am looking into the WRT54G CDFDxxxxxxx (serial). Can anyone tell me would I be better off with the linksys performance wise or keep the belkin?

The wrt54g cdfd is a version 6 which as only 2mb of memory. Can run the micro version of DD-WRT. If you want to get a wrt54g I would suggest you look into getting a wrt54gl. This is basically a wrt54g v4 and can run any version of DD-WRT plus many other firmware support such as Thibor15c.
