I have been using a Linksys WRT54G with seperate ADSL modem for over 5 years and it has been a faultless setup. Never dropped a signal or caused any problems - ever! However the WRT54G has been failing recently and I think it's definitely a hardware fault - it has been permanently on for over 5 years just about! Anyway am looking for a replacement and the two options seem to be the WAG325N or the WAG160N. Can any kind soul provide any useful user feedback on these two devices and which is best? I did also think about the WRT versions but it would be nice to have an allinone unit. The only drawback appears to be very few Firmware alternatives for the WAG series. However if the stock firmware is good, it shouldn't be a problem. Any advice would be most welcome! For info my setup is as follows: Router serving two wireless laptops for internet and file sharing/backup Wired NAS Drive (Synology 207+) Backup wirelessly to the Synology box on regular basis so need solid wireless performance.
