Advice Needed - WAG325N or WAG160N?

I have been using a Linksys WRT54G with seperate ADSL modem for over 5 years and it has been a faultless setup. Never dropped a signal or caused any problems - ever! However the WRT54G has been failing recently and I think it's definitely a hardware fault - it has been permanently on for over 5 years just about!

Anyway am looking for a replacement and the two options seem to be the WAG325N or the WAG160N. Can any kind soul provide any useful user feedback on these two devices and which is best? I did also think about the WRT versions but it would be nice to have an allinone unit. The only drawback appears to be very few Firmware alternatives for the WAG series. However if the stock firmware is good, it shouldn't be a problem.

Any advice would be most welcome!

For info my setup is as follows:
Router serving two wireless laptops for internet and file sharing/backup
    Wired NAS Drive (Synology 207+)
Backup wirelessly to the Synology box on regular basis so need solid wireless performance.

No, received no guidance at all!

Anyway went for the WAG325N in the end. Very pleased with it. Very quick setup and has been faultless since getting it.

    Hope that helps.

I think this is due to your encryption not matching that of the router i.e. your encryption info on your PC doesn't match that on the router. Double check all your data and ensure they match. If you want to test if it's this causing the problem, siply switch off all encryption (wireless security) and then try and connect.

How to do this is all in th manual and configured from the web interface of the router.

    Hope that helps.
