    Good Afternoon ALL,

I have sucessfully upgrade to firmware 1.3, and so far no issue with dropped connections, here is my current setup.

    Athalon 2Gig
    1Gig RAM
    400Gig Drive Space
Windows XP Pro Service Pack 2
    WAG54G ver 1, 1.3 Firmware.
ALL Wirelless is set to 11Mbps (802.11.b) No DHCP.
Logging Works and so does inbound NAT translations

BUT when I enable the Wireless USB Adapter with the LINKSYS software it seems to slow the computer down, the WUSB54.EXE software is set to high priority as soon as I stop using this and using the normal Windows XP Zero Wireless Config then speed is OK. I have installed the latest drives.

Any reason why you don't want XP to manage the wireless config?

I have no real reason why accept it kept dropping and not reconnecting. It seems the CISCO util at least tries to reconnect.

Begining to loose all faith in ever getting this fixed.

Plus I am retesting a download using the ethernet port as I am not convinced that I did lose any packets during the transfer over Wireless.

    Any ideas a appreciated.

Are you using the latest drivers, both for the WUSB54 and your motherboard?

You say your running everything at 802.11b (11mbps), what is the reason for that?

The main reason for running at 802.11.b is beacuse it is stable at this rate. As soon as I move it to .g it starts disconnecting during the Night.

I am using a Gigabyte Athalon Board with a 2Gig procesor and 1gig of Ram with several 400Gig SATA drives connected direct. Running Windows XP Pro + Service Pack 2 (Only SP2 to see if it fixes the issue).
