I also would like to hear BrainSlayer's input on this but I imagine it should be relatively easy to test for someone with two routers and an hour to kill.

    1. Build:

    [PC1] -- Wire -- [Router1] ~~ WDS ~~ [Router2] -- Wire -- [PC2]

    2. Do two throughput tests from PC1 to PC2. The first with Afterburner off, the second with Afterburner on, and see what kind of speeds you get. (And according to this thread you wouldn't even need to have WRT54GS routers to do the test!)

I'm not sure what you mean when you say you don't know if it is working...

Do you mean you setup a WDS configuration similar to the one suggested above and then did a throughput test but saw no difference if afterburner was enabled or disabled....???

in the v4.xx linksys sources it states that Afterburner and WDS are mutually exclusive, unless brainslayer has come up with some magic to make them work together.
