Almost, but not quite there!

    Howdy,

I have a Dell laptop that is able to join my existing workgroup with no problem. Meaning, I am able to surf the net through my connection with our Linksys router. I've got my laptop configured to join the "OFFICE" group. The other PC's (desktops) can see my laptop but I can't see them. I can ping the desktops with no problem. I have not shared any of my own PC's resources to the network. Should this matter? I also do not have any firewall protection, at the moment, besides the Linksys router.

It seems that I am almost, but not quite there. I want to be able to use the shared printer of one of the desktops. Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance!

** UPDATE ** Okay, I am a freaking idiot! I *DID* have ZoneAlarm installed but didn't see it in my tray area. So, I went and set the "Internet Zone Security" from "High", which blocks NetBIOS, to "Medium". Working good!
