Antenna Hardware..where to buy?

    Greetings all,

Have a WRT54G V2.0 router and bought the antenna extender, however the distance it covers is fairly short. If I was to extend the cable, where could you find the appropriate TNC connectors and/or cable? As well, would signal quality/power be affected adversely with longer cables?

I downloaded and patched the most recent Satori firmware upgrade (I'm away from my home computer.....can't remember the version...sorry!) and tried boosting the power and am wondering if just this would be sufficient enough.

    Thanks in advance!

I don't know of where to go to buy things like that having never bought separate external antennae off an online shop (got one through eBay and about 4 through Micro Center).

However, longer cables=bad reception. The strength of the signal greatly decreases when you have long cables so I'd reccomend against any unnecessary length additions.

you need speial cable for 2.4 gig (i believe someone said 50 ohm but i'm no RF expert - there was a thread on this earlier) try searching online theres lots of RF parts stores that'll sell adapters, etc.
