    Hello,

I've been trying to setup port forwarding for a couple of hours already, using google for advice, nothing gained.

I've put 2 screenshots of the situation to: http://www.delfi.ly/linksys.jpg

I need to forward 50005 to the same port in my pc (static ip), but as you see from the shot below, it puts 50005 to some random port, different every time!

    Helpful suggestions very wellcome!

You are confusing port forwards which are for external connections in with an outgoing connection. NAT works by changing port numbers automagically. If that connection is a reply to an incoming request on that port, then I think that means the port forwarding is working!

    That puzzles me even more..
Because the footprint was left after testing the port with an online port scanner.

You should see in that list all connections from local addresses of machines in your LAN, and from the internet to your WAN IP address, but it seems it only shows connections that are made from the internet to the router (such as DNS servers)?

On a windows XP PC the command

    netstat -b

from a command prompt shows connections and processes.
