Any third-parties going to release 4.x based firmware?

It seems like the 4.00.7 and upcoming 4.20.6 firmware fix many of the high-throughput disconnect issues (amongst other things), but unlike previous firmware releases, there hasn't been a quick release of any of the third-party enhanced firmwares to the best of my knowledge. Anyone know if this is going to change in the near future? I would love to have one with kaid integrated, but I have to have static DHCP to use one......anyway, thanks to everyone on the scene responsible for puttting these firmwares out in the first place.

I think DD-WRT is going to be your best bet.. Could be wrong though

but i dd-wrt is not based on the 4.20.6 firmware. i think you might want to give firmware writers some time. they are not getting paid for this you know.

right now dd-wrt is still in "sneak peak" final releases. i think that when brainalyer starts work on the v23 you might see something that is 4.20.6 based.

OpenWrt has been using that new system code for a while now (ASUS released it a while earlier than Linksys)

We're currently working hard towards our next stable release, 'whiterussian'.

I am using dd-wrt pre5 now, and I'll have to check openwrt out, but I think it may be a little over my head...
