I haven't moved to 6.8 from 5.5 yet as I am debating the potential for data lost. I can't believe I got 120Gb on one drive so far. Anyway I would love to hear how its running for others.

    It's runnin fine !

www and ftp samba and a little more.

only thing I'm wondering about are the ftp speed ?

    To the NSLU2 :
    Transferred 1 file totaling 347,31 MB in 2 minutes 23 seconds (2 479,2 KB/s)

same file back too my XP :
    Transferred 1 file totaling 347,31 MB in 1 minute 12 seconds (4 939,6 KB/s)

    Strange ??
    Double speed !

I would like to know that too?. When i unslung the firmware onto a disk i get errors when trying to update firmware to either 6.8 without being unslung or the official linksys firmware.

^^^ All the info is in the Unslung FAQs.

The easiest method is to download the Sercomm Flash Util, put the NSLU2 into upgrade mood and flash.

Sometimes it looses it's network settings so keep the NSLU2 CD handy to access it and change the IP etc

Im running Unslung 6.8 beta on my slug. Its very stable so far.

There are some problems due to NTFS volums and codepage mismatches, but now i got the right codepage kernel module and everything is smooth.

Im running samba, mt-daapd, openssh so far.
