Anyone used EraseAll.exe?!

Like birbjo, I am utterly tired of the bugs of the NSLU2.
But I tend to keep the slug a while longer though...

I have only 2 backup jobs defined, but it's not possible to add more jobs.
Also, just a fraction of all files I define are actually backed up.

So, I am thinking of using the EraseAll.exe utility to clear everything out. My question is:
Has anyone here used it? Does it clear ALL configuration data?

    I am using R63 firmware.

After reading over the directions for the EraseALL utility, I would say that it isn't for erasing settings as much as it is a TFTP flashing utility with a different user interface than the TFTP utility used for flashing routers such as the SX41.

don't know your still waiting for this answer, but the answer is no! It's only a tool to erase the eeprom and load it again with the new firmware. I used it 2 times and both times the settings where exact like before.

resetting 30 seconds and leave the device powered off for about a minute seems to be a factory reset. I managed to change the port settings this way back to 80. Maybe it works also for your problem.

I think this says it all :

If I'm correct it does erase everything (including the bootloader), and if anything should go wrong, you have a permanent brick.
