If your are using multiple WAP54G's could you describe you equipment, setup, channel, SSID, AP Mode, Repeat Mode etc.. And if it will roam between AP's, or allow you to switch AP's?

There as several ways to do it however i suppose the normal would be to allow roaming. You need to have the same SSID, however the channels must be different so no interference takes place. channels to use are 1, 6, and 11. make sure the wireless cells overlap but make sure each overlapping cell has a different channel. they would all be in AP mode and joined to the lan via ethernet cable.

that method allows you to roam say with a wireless laptop and have access to the lan/net.

    something like this:

    Hello Simon

Thanks for the response. I want to do exactly what you have shown. I purchased 4ea WAP54GP's to do so, a description of my problem can be found in the WAPXXX sub forum, look at pmachete's post as well, same issue. Tech is trying to figure out if this "not being able to roam" issue is by design or a bug. They couldn't even tell me for sure if the "G" models would work as you have shown. That's why I was hoping to get some feedback on anyone who might have a setup as you described with linksys equipment up and working.
