I am watching my Router logs with WallWatcher and see some message actitivy that says one of my users is attempting to log into the router with the wrong password.

This went on for a few days, 3 hits at a time with no pattern to time of day. It turns out that AOL has a new feature to "Manage Your Router" and that is what is attempting to log in. Since I change the password AOL's attempts fail.

Why would anyone want AOL to manage the router??

I would like to ban AOL from my network as it can be used to hide the sites you visit.

Anyone else concerened about AOL being a risk on the network?

well they have these things to make sure that ceratin ports are open in your router. that is why, if you ever heard of port magic it is starting to be bundled with aol software. to tell you the truth i have not used aol in about 2 years. it is all mozzila, and aim from here. and aol eats up so many system resources!!!
