AP Isolation for one client only

    Hi,

I've given my neighbour my wireless password (and added her to the wireless filter, plus static DHCP) to allow her to use my internet when hers is down.
What I would like is to restrict her to using ONLY the internet, and have no access to my LAN. I however, still need LAN access for my wireless clients.
Is there a way to do this?

    Thanks

You can enable "AP Isolation" in Advanced --> Wireless section. This will at least isolate her from your other wireless clients. Now, this isolates all wireless clients from each other, and only wireless. You can still get access to all wired connections.

Other than that, I don't think you can, unless you have a VLAN that you can put her in, but I don't think tomato has this feature, if I'm correct?

I didn't realise AP Isolation only isolated wireless clients from each other... not the LAN... I guess I could do that but really I want to isolate her from my wired clients.

What I really want is some kind of way of chaining her LAN IP address to only the WAN (I have set her a static IP, and she is the only person I need to restrict). It doesn't have to be able to defeat a determined attacker (her tech skills are pretty minimal)... I just don't want my devices popping up on her computer automatically e.g. via Bonjour etc
