    Could I do that?

    I need to block certain website to be accessed. Can I do it with Tomato?
    Maybe with word filtering or web addrress filtering?

    Thanks in advance.

    In advanced DHCP/DNS, place this line in dnsmasq custom config:

    address=/whatever.com/0.0.0.0

    It will force your dns to see the site name you want to block as having an IP of 0.0.0.0, effectively preventing anyone from getting to it on that lan.

    OR

    Sign up with OpenDNS and put the site in your block list.

    What should I change 0.0.0.0 into? Is it the IP of the website I want to block or IP of the client in my LAN?

    Actually, I only need to block website for certain client not for all client.

    Thx.

    You don't change 0.0.0.0 into anything. You are telling the router to return an address of 0.0.0.0 for whatever domain name you put in that line whenever a DNS lookup is done, which causes the browser to attempt to load a non existent page. This effectively blocks that page from loading, although if you already know it's IP and use that instead of it's name, it will still load.

    You can also change 0.0.0.0 to the IP address of a page you would like to load as a substitute, I think.

    Thank you. But I think It will be applied into all client connected into the router. Is there any way if I only want to restrict certain client?

    I've tried.. Wow, it's awesome..
    It will be more awesome if I can redirect the client into the web page saved in my computer (for telling a message), Can it be done?
