Morning all 1st post so please be gentle.

OK heres what we have to play with:
2 RF TEC routers (Basically WRT54G's running on Sveasoft Alchemy V1.0 put in a fancy box with a flat antenna) in WDS mode.
1 Cisco 13 DB Yagi antenna. Vertical Polarisation.
1 Stella Doradus 20 DB Dish antenna. Vertical Polarisation.
Both antenna patch lead lengths: Approx 12 inches.
Distance apart: 5 nautical miles! accross water with no obstructions. Have 100% line of sight
Both antenna heights above water: approx 80 - 100 feet

I have the link up and running but it's only at 1 Meg, although the RSSI's are both -66 dbm.
HTTP'ing into the routers is possible and is ot the fastest in the world (approx 3-4 seconds per page) but it's stable at that.

Was wondering if there was any way I can adjust the wireless settings to improve the link quality as need approx 3 mb multicast, but 4 or even 5 would be nice for extra overhead.

I can change out the Cisco Yagi for a Stella Dish, but it'll be a pain in the butt as we are limited for space on that end and I also have to get permission from various authorities to get to it's location. :(

    All replies appreciated.

    Many Thanks.

Yeah, I think a dish on the other end of the link is the ticket.
