Asus now has the RT-AC66U router listed on there website.
    http://www.asus.com/Networks/Wireless_Routers/RTAC66U/#overview
From what I read around the web the RT-N66U and RT-AC66U share the same firmware.
The hardware is the same with the exception of the wireless output chips. Broadcom BCM4360
I have a feeling that Shibby's recent tomato build that uses Asus current 5.100.138.20 drivers will work with this router.
The AC66U is listed in a couple web stores but it is shown as back ordered.
As soon as I can get one I'll flash it and report back.

Since ASUS will be officially releasing a DUAL WAN firmware version for this new model and throw it into their open source, will this help our fellow Tomato developers use that code to incorporate into Tomato builds???

    I hope so :)

Speaking for me, it's possible, but the problem with this solution is that if the router goes down you lose both connections. Have to wait to see what their software is capable of.

    Router goes down?
    With tomato toastman?
The house will more likely burn before that happens!

    lmao - I agree
I hate using that dual wan by that third party Chinese translated version right now, I'll take a toastman/shibby/teaman/victek dual wan version over them any day

Asus has released there first firmware and source code for the RT-AC66U. Looking though the source code I noticed something interesting. NVRAM_64K=y. It looks like the NVRAM in the RT-AC66U is 64K. Very Good News! Hopefully they will enable this for the RT-N66U soon too.
