Asus RT-N16 w Tomato USB: Best Economical Wireless N Access Point AP to add for 2nd Floor ?

Any suggestions? I am wondering if there's something that works reliably as an AP and is not expensive. Just that the signal I receive on 2nd floor due to Concrete is low.

Linksys WRT310N is pretty reliable with Toastman 7633. I see several new ones on eBay for $26 US. I modded mine with a single external antenna, more out of curiosity than necessity.

Thanks for the great insight :) I will look into it.

I dont need the Wireless N AP to be Tomato or DD-WRT or other compatible. It should just be:
    - Cheap
    - Reliable

To extend my WiFi to 2nd Floor via "Hard wire" ethernet

    I recommend you ASUS RT-16n

I use it about 16months without any problem. I use shibby v100 AIO build (I updated it last weekend) - its stable and reliable. I use this router for 9x wireless connection + 3xwired connection at one time... no problem so far.

My internet connection is 50/50 Mb/s

I have the Asus RT N 16 for a Wireless Router. Its more expensive than an N - access point. So a more economical and not feature rich one will do. Reliability & Economics are a constraint.
