RT-N16 can run RT-N release without problem, I did in my case, same version for RT-N16 and RT-N66 in my beta section.

    Hi Vic,
I didn't find firmware for RT-N16 and RT-N66 in your beta section.

Is "NVRAM60K" OK for the 32K NVRAM in RT-N16 - auto-deteting real size?

Yes, (I read it before... http://tomatousb.org/forum/t-284878/increasing-nvram-size) try it. ;) but.. who said RT-N16 have 32KB NVRAM?, depends on mapping, not? I got 38KB free after flashing.

I found the problem of non-activation of the service Access Restriction/WPS Key ON OFF.
When restart the router with USB support and a USB key inserted, the previous services(Access Restriction for wireless OFF/WPS Key ON OFF) do not work.If i press the WPS button, this don't turn OFF the wireless, the same for acess restriction.
    I hope I have explained
My current firmware is: tomato-K26USB-1.28.RT-N5x-MIPSR2-085V-AIO of Shibby
    Sorry for my bad english

Only when USB key is inserted or also without any USB device inserted?

I have not tested with or without...
I think it is dependent on all the mods

@Victek, the RTN-16 has an a 128kB flash block reserved for nvram, but the Asus/Broadcom CFE and kernel code only uses the last 32kB. I didn't know the state of ray123's patches to detect or increase the nvram size. I ran my WRT54G-TM for a while with 128kB nvram by modifying both CFE and kernel, but when the inevitable crash happened I jtagged standard CFE back. Never dared experiment with RTN-16 CFE, but I see Tornado at dd-wrt forums now offering custom CFEs for a price.

Dont know mstombs but the fact is that I have 38KB nvram free now. This topic has been discussed in many posts and I'm surprised when I flashed RT-N16 with RT-N built and n60nc switch.

    Look more details...

    root@RT-N16:/tmp/home/root# nvram show |grep entries
981 entries, 20653 bytes used, 40787 bytes free.

    i haven`t RT-N66 but i have RT-N10U and WNR3500Lv2. Both are supported by RT-N well i will test scheduler.

    You know...
Before I bought the RT-N66U I had several routers and all of them works fine with scheduler.
Usually I checked everyday reboot early early morning and did't have any problems at all.
All routers rebooted in time and I had opportunity forget about them.
But the situation with RT-N66U another.

But for me it not so big problem. I can do reboot it myself without scheduler.
    Any way
    THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Access restriction works for you and after a few days it stops working or not working at all

The main problem is your sentence Mirko ....

'Access restriction works for you and after a few days it stops working or not working at all'

I don't know any firmware with random IA yet ;), some external event/action provokes it...

    Thanks

I don't use USB at all.

Access restriction works fine and seems to me without any issue.

And I find one more thing that I don't understand.
Some parameters change to default after reboot.
    For example:
if I chahge MAC address and reboot after that the previous MAC address return back...
I mean some of point of user setup gone away after reboot.

    Repeat,
I always not sure that the problem I find it's the problem of router and etc.
may be it's problem of my head. :)

But seems to me that I'm not the first who meet this problem.
I forgot where I read about it. :-(

(NVRAM still have around 15% free space)

@Shibby:i have compared your firmware with Toastman,i saw that the wifi signal is more stable in version of Toastman
    It is possible?
The transmit power does not seem to change on any firmware
    Thanks for Everything

does 5G work for you on Tomato?

    OFW - 5GhZ works
after tomato flash - 5GHz works
    after nvram erase - 5GHz doesn`t work

In GUI 5GHz is active, led 5GHz is light but my wireless card doesn`t see network :/

I don't have any issues with the 5GHz on my 66u with your builds shibby. I am running 085V. I tryed 087V but encountered other problem listed here
    http://tomatousb.org/forum/t-364842/shibby-builds#post-1393785

I also have a problem with the scheduler, it doesn't run my custom script. The script runs fine in the cli.

Just for shits and giggles I did another 30-30-30 and reconfigured. QOS graphs are fine now, scheduler still doesn't operate properly. IP Traff Graphs missing from 087V. Auto refresh not working on overview page.

scheduler works for me. I enabled custom1 every 3 minutes and put into command "logger test" and i logs i have:
    Mar 14 13:36:01 unknown user.notice root: test
    Mar 14 13:39:01 unknown user.notice root: test
    Mar 14 13:42:01 unknown user.notice root: test
    well scheduler works fine.

"I also have a problem with the scheduler, it doesn't run my custom script."

Scheduler works same issue for me too.
    And...
Scheduler works for me fine only before the first rebooting only.
    After that scheduler does't work
(and after rebooting new MAC adress for 2.4GHz band gone away too).

    One I think important moment!
Same issue I have with Toastman f/w!

Thank you! Tomato firmware the best still.

    @Shibby:
-I found the problem of non-activation of the service Access Restriction/WPS Key ON OFF.
When restart the router with USB support and a USB key inserted, the previous services(Access Restriction for wireless OFF/WPS Key ON OFF) do not work.If i press the WPS button, this don't turn OFF the wireless, the same for acess restriction.
-When i resatart the router with Wirless 2.4ghz ON and wireless 5ghz ON the services(Access Restriction for wireless OFF/WPS Key ON OFF) do not work. When restart with wireless 2.4ghz ON and wireless 5ghz OFF and the nest boot activate wireless 5ghz all work fine!
    Sorry for my bad english

@ shibby, fair enough, I will take a closer look at my setup. Did you remove the IP Traff Graphs from 087V?
