After I switched to my new Linksys WRT54GX SRX enabled G class router, all my PC/Laptops connected thru this router is having audio breakup problems with Skype. When I bypass the router, the problem disappears. I still have the Netgear G class router and with that I don't have any such problem. I have been using wireless for a few years now starting with 802.11b, 802.11g and now since I wanted MIMO, I switched to Linksys SRX technology router. I have 2 PCS and 3 laptops connected (all on wireless) to the router and have had no problem with Skype until I switched to this Linksys router. My PCs are not of one single config (one Dell PC, one Dell laptop, one home brewed PC, two Thinkpads) and there is a mixture of wifi cards (Intel, D-Link, Linksys). And ideas where the problem would be? I posted this thread on skype forum and I was directed to use HyperWRT f/w.
