    Well I´ve just bought a WMP54G adapter. I´m trying to use it an infrastucture mode in a w98 SE desktop PC. But it doesn´t detect my AP; it´s a WRT54G from linksys.

    My AP works fine with my notebook and his XP Pro through its built-in wireless card. Well, it´s connected to a DSL modem from Dlink, DSL-300T.
    They have the following IPs:

    AP.- http//192.168.2.1
    ; it works like a DHCP server and it´s also my gateway.
    Dsl modem.- http://192.168.1.1
    My notebook.- 192.168.2.100

    Both; the AP and the WMP54G adapter are configured in a mixed mode and uses the same channel 11; the first is configured to use it and the second uses the autodetection method.

    My adapter is set up with its default properties. So;

    Should I set up my adapter manually; or should I change someting on my router (I have tried to disable XP and WRT54G firewall; but it didn´t work)???

    I guess I should change router´s channel or set my adapter up manually.

    Any ideas; to solve this problem.
    Note: My adapter is a WMP54G v.2.

    Thank you very much.

    I cannot use "LinKsys Easy Connect" cause my OS is not english; and I have installed adapter´s software first and then my adapter in my w98 SE OS.

    Any ideas; to solve the problem I mentioned before.

    Thanks.
