I am tottaly experimenting with all this wireless stuff......I have used DD-WRT FW and now I am playing with HyperWRT FW.

I seem to like the HyperWRT FW Better than the DD-WRT FW.

The HyperWRT seems to connect to my remote pc's better than the DD-WRT.

But I can not get the routers to piggy back each other using the HyperWRT FW like I can with stock FW or DD-WRT FW.

I am now using HyperWRT v2.1b1 in both my g and my gs routers

I have changed both local ip's so I can call each one up on their own and that seemed to work with the other FW that I have used.

Any suggestions on the piggy back issue with both routers?

I am glad that I havent bricked anything yet......

My brain is fried on all this stuff.

I have done a lot of trouble shooting on both of my router and i have ended going back to the DD-WRT v23 FW.

That was 4 hours of trying different configurations of both routers.

I couldn't get the HyperWRT to piggy back...

I don't recall piggy back being a feature. Did you mean WDS? That is so easy that it is nearly automatic with the latest versions of HyperWRT from Tofu and Thibor.

But hey, you got DD-WRT to work. That's fantastic!! I never did do that. ;)
