Backing up from one drive to the other but without wiping?

I am just wondering if anyone has tried backing up from disk 1 to disk 2 without using the drive to drive backup? In other words using the NSLU2 to PC backup but putting in the details for the second drive instead of the PC drive.

I have a spare HD and would like to hook it up to the disk 2 port but would need to keep not only a backup of some files from disk 1 but also some other files exclusive to disk 2.

Haven't tried that yet, but how are the files exclusive to the disk on port 2 backed up in your proposed set up?

I think it wipes it everytime!

Just add folders to disk 1 and lock everyone out but you

or go the usb hub way and add extra drives that only you can access.

Theres a few different ways of doing it

or don't hide your porn hehe everyone likes porn :drinking:
