Backup Internet - failover on RV*

I am running a small server on a cable Internet connection. The cable has been flaky lately - so I am interested in these 'dual WAN' port routers.

I understand they do load balancing - but I am mostly after 'auto failover'. I use services from dydns (customDNS) to point my domain at my Cable IP address - how would this work if I was to use this type of dual WAN router? It seems to me that I would still have to manually change the IP at Dyndns to switch between the two Internet connections.

The software our users are using is custom, so I will ask the dev group if it is possible to route to a second domain if the first is not available, but getting them to change the app takes ages...

Our network was setup with a Monowall (on a Soekris device) and 16 port switch. I am not much of a networking guy, and the consultant that set this up for us is no longer in business. Hoping that the RV series can help us out. Any advice?

    TIA
