    Hi all,

I'm trying for couple of hours now to get to work but I can't.

I have pfSense v2.0.1 with IP:
Asus N-16 is running tomato-K26USB-1.28.7495.1MIPSR2-Toastman-RT-Std with IP:
from my computers I'm able to login to both devices.
Asus has DHCP server turned off and it uses WAN port for LAN.

When I enable Bandwidth Limiter and set limits for particular wireless client it does not work it still gets full speed but when I enable DHCP server on Asus and re-enable WAN port and re-configure cables it starts to work and limits bandwidth to ~3024 kbit/s.

How can achieve that without turning on DHCP back on because I want be able to see other computers in network from wireless client and when DHCP is enabled its not possible.

bw limiter works ONLY in router mode (NAT is active). When you use WAN as LAN then NAT is off and router mode also is off. Router became a simple AccessPoint. This is why bw limiter wont work.

    It`s not a bug.

    Thanks for the reply!

Ok, if I understand you correctly, just because I use WAN port as LAN port that turns NAT off can I change that to any other options there?
My main goal is to be able to browse each other shares ie. main computer -> wireless (laptop) and vise versa. When I enable DHCP that is not possible. Any other work around ie. change router IP?

Still haven't found the solution. Here's my network diagram:
