If you push bandwith logs out to CIFS(or I guess save to ram) what is saved in that log? I was assuming it was the data for the real time graph or at least the 24 hour graph but it doesnt appear to be that way as the log files are really small. Is it just daily totals that are saved?

Can the logs be viewed outside of the router, if I open with text veiwer it is not readable?

My real goal here is to figure out what the bandwidth hogs are so I can tweak my QOS. I was looking at the syslogs. I see that you can log connections but can bandwidth be determined from the connection logs? Regardless, can anyone recommend a syslog viewer tool

Have you looked at "transfer rates" under QOS?
