    Howdy all,

It seems that I cannot access the internet through the cable modem Arris TM502G.

I plug my computer into on of the open ports on the BEFSR41 Router and nothing. Tried rebooting all, power down, ipconfig release/renew, upgrading firmware on router.

The cable modem is plugged into the UPLINK port on the router, and the one PC that can access the internet is plugged into one of the other ports. Shouldn't the cable from the modem goto the WAN port and the PC's into ports 1-4? I know the UPLINK port is used to string routers together, but this is the only way that one computer can access the internet through the router. If I plug in any other PC to open ports I get nothing. If I reconfigure the connections(modem to WAN port and PCs to numbers ports, I get nothing). Of course I am resetting the modem and router's and PC's each time i reconfigure.

This situation is giving me a serious headache.

    Any Ideas?

Thanks a million in advance!!! :)
