BEFSR41 v4.2 port forwarding problem

    I have BEFSR41 v4.2 with firmware 2.00.1

All computers have a static IP. One computer is running emule, and the other Conquer 2.0 (online game) and winlive messenger. Both are WinXp Pro. I set up port forwarding for emule. All fine, I got High ID (not firewalled) and good speed. But, the game and messenger keep disconnecting every minutes.

If I disable port forwarding, the game and messenger works fine. But I got Low ID on emule (not good).

Does anyone aware of problems on this device ?

Note : Was working fine yesterday on a DI-704UP.

I've had the same problem, BEFSR31 v4.3, FW 2.00.1. What I did to fix it is:

Go to Administration -> Management. Enable UPnP.
Then go to Applications/Gaming -> Port Range Forwarding. Disable all entries.
Then go to Applications/Gaming -> UPnP Forwarding. Use in the same manner as Port Range Forwarding, except it's a single port. If you need more then one port, fill out more entries.

To the best of my knowledge, Port Range Forwarding is a complete and total bust and UPnP works great, until you can pick up a higher end router.
