The firmware on this BEFSR41 (ver.2) is corrupt, and it won't hold the connection long enough to use Linksys' TFTP utility to put fresh firmware on.

    How can I fix this?

I've heard that I can solder a serial port onto the board, and update that way. Is this true, (I'm guessing it is via JP1 on the board)
Does anyone have a pinout (9pin serial, 14 pins on board) and what software I would use?

I've tried the reset button for 10, and 30 sec. doesn't work.
