BEFSR81 V3 bandwidth control?

Is there anyone here that uses a LinkSys BEFSR81 V3? I recently bought one... I know this router doesn't really have a built-in bandwidth control but the way the bandwidth is being divided over my computers is ridiculous.

I always used to have a softwarematic router, using a PC as a server with Sygate Homenetworking... Now I bought this router and the network works all fine, I can also use the net on all comps, however..

When I'm playing starcraft (an online game) and someone else is downloading on another computer, the game starts to lag. Even as soon as you open a website on another computer, I get small lagspikes till the website is finished loading.

I never had any of these problems with my old server-pc configuration. The game really doesnt take up much bandwidth, but somehow the router just can't 'deal' with it. I hope I didn't just waste my money here on a gayrouter and that it's actually fixable somehow T.T

I guess you could use QoS and stuff but hey.. Getting lag just because someone else opens on another comp is ridiculous.

    Any help/feedback/comments?

(Already updated the firmware & also tried using NetLimiter which doesn't help as well)
