Hi, I just found this site today and this is my first post..
I have a BEFSR81 that I just resurected after almost 2 years thanks to alot of reading on this site. Back when I tried to upgrade the firmware and it failed, I called linksys for support and they said it was DEAD. Anyway, this was my favorite router and I just got it back online today. I added my WRT54GS to it as an access point and so far so good. I was hoping for a few answers to some questions I have about this setup. Here we go!!!
    1) The BEFSR81 has the status lights that show when a 10/100 connection is present. Now to my surprise, when I hooked up the WRT54GS to it (Port 1 to Port 1), it displayed that it was only a 10 connection. Did linksys downgrade the ports on the newer routers?
    2) My WRT54GS has DDNS support and the BEFSR81 does not. Is that feature usable when the BEFSR81 is the gateway and the WRT54GS is a router?
    3) My speed per speakeasy.net seems to be slower through the BEFSR81 than it does through the WRT54GS even though it has a 100 connection to my cable modem. ex. approx 12000 DL with the WRT54GS (wired) and approx 8400 DL with BEFSR81 (wired).
    Thanks for any input...

I should mention that the versions are BEFSR81v2 and the WRT54GSv4
