BEFW11S4 blocking IGMP?

    Hi Guys,

I have an ADSL modem and a BEFW11S4 router with the latest firmware (1.52.02). I have 2 computers which have wired connections to the router. The ADSL modem is connected to the router's internet port. The router is set to connect on demand (PPPoE). Both machines can access the internet just fine.

I now have a new device which allows me to get cable through the same ADSL line. If this is connected directly to my ADSL modem, the device works and I can watch all the cable channels through it on the TV.

If however, I go back to my earlier setup and connect the device to my router, it does not work, cannot connect to the server. I was told it requires IGMP and this is probably being blocked by the router.

All I can do on my router is turn multicast filtering off, which is the default setting and doesn't change things. I'm not aware of any other settings which should affect this.

Any ideas on how I can get this to work?

    Thanks in advance,
    Brian.
