Linksys BEFW11S4 v4 with lastest firmware. WEP enabled.
3 XP desktops (D-link adapter) and 1 win 2000 laptop (Cisco adapter) all connected wirelessly.
Everything works fine for a couple of days and then suddenly, the wireless connection is lost on all clients. Light on the router says wireless is working. Also adapter wireless utlities and Netstumbler show the wireless as active.
However, I cannot connect to it. I have to power off the router and power on and things are normal (for another couple of days )

    Any ideas ?

I had 1.52 until this past weekend. I downgraded to 1.50 over the weekend to check if it will make a difference.

    worked for 2 weeks now

After downgrade to 1.50.14 and turning off DHCP, everything seems to be working.

1.52 makes it so if you disable SSID transmit, you basically turn off wireless.

I'm searching for 1.50.14 to downgrade back to, a link would be nice

if you turn off ssid it doesn't disable the wireless.. you just stop broadcasting your id.. which makes it harder for leechers to get on to your network you still send a wireless signal .. the connectivity issue seems to be a problem with this model. i would change out the server and save yourself the headache

    lossing wireless connection

In my case radio in AP stopworking after about 2900 sec. I'm useing WEP . firmware 1.52.2.
1.50.14 no problem > 1.52.14 problem with lossing connection > 1.50.14 problem still occure > 1.52.2 still occure.
Have you any idea howto solve the problem?

    Thanks Adam

Did you mean change out a server, or change out the Linksys?
